It really means that is a standalone expansion. Wow it could be that there is these option if you buy only this. I can only say how it is if you have Might and Magic 6. You have in the game the option to unlock Shades of Darkness same as the other DLC´s and the option to start the Shades of Darkness is also as the other DLC´s. RorW.
