But since it goes dirty cheap on the sales, get the base game and test it out. If you like it, get the dlcs later on. When I first bought it, I got the game and played for 50ish

Most of them - no. You should choose map DLC, like Scandinavia, France, Going East and Italy. Those are must have in my opinion. Cabin Accessories are fine addition, maybe trailer (schwarzmuller), or special/heavy cargo dlc, if you like such a heavy transport.
