When washing car with key in pocket doors lock and unlock with washing action, place key 10ft. away and doors stay locked I have a 2016 SEL Combi which, as standard. came with what Skoda term KESSY GO which is basically a keyless ignition (start/stop button) but not the full keyless entry (keyfob buttons still used). You can also temporarily disable KESSY, so that only the press on the key button will unlock the car in situations when KESSY security isn't strong enough.
The issues are pretty well fixed, but some have still issues and worse still have them dismissed now by Skoda UK / VW Group. So the point is not 'fixed' if you have one with issues.
