Melophobia means “fear of music,” but there is nothing to be scared of on Cage the Elephant’s shimmering third album. The Kentucky garage rockers build this catchy collection on spiraling guitars (“Telescope”), splashy drums (“It’s Just Forever”), and sunshine melodies that could break the thickest cloud cover (see: the ‘60s garage homage “Hypocrite”).
Cage THE ELEPHANT is a Bowling Green, Kentucky-based five piece band consisting of Matt Shultz (vocals), his brother Brad (guitar) and their friends Daniel Titchenor (bass), Lincoln Parish (guitar) and Jared Champion (drums). Matt, Brad and Daniel grew up on an alternative religious commune started by their ex-hippie parents.

With the symbol and the Instant Crush cover im guessing they're fans of the strokes :D. They actually said in an AMA a while back that The Strokes are one of their favorite bands to see live. I definitely fangirled a bit when they said it! Isn't this album acoustic covers of there songs, or are they making new songs.
